I know Brett isn’t in DEMA or anything but this was the first time I had filmed anything for a mag minute. I went and stayed with Brett two different times to film him for what you currently see now. I only filmed two things in there but hey I am pumped I just got my name on the website. There alot more stuff that I have of Brett that didn’t make the final cut which will probably go in my video. So here it is and if you see Brett around have a philosophical talk with him about current world affairs. Dude is hella smart….UC berkeley is a hard college to get into…really hard..

Ill give you a little history behind each clip that I filmed just to give you a sense of what its like to be out in the streets trying to get footy.

The Varial Flip from bank to bank over a set of stairs

This spot is in Oakland and is in front two houses one filled with Mexican and one with Koreans. Neither family didn’t care about us skating in front of their house and we were there for 4 hours. Some of them came out and watched and some of the kids got in the way sometimes. We also had  to put a sign down for the run-up which was hella rugged. Brett also got another trick on this spot but you’ll have to wait and see what it is.

FS boardslide on the John Cardiel spot from sight unseen.

This fs board was on a different trip and he actually did it twice. The way John Cardiel skated it is effing gnarly because there is no bump to the rail. This spot is also in Oakland but in the sketchier part but we kept to ourselves and kept our eyes peeled the whole time. Franciso filmed the other angle with his 2100 and the rest is history.
