So I am sure as you all know its been raining like a mo’fucka out here in OC or all over in California in general. Despite my numerous weather warnings from friends and my desktop widgets I tried to go out and skate anyways. But the rain still caught up to us and we decided to go spot hunting/ garage skate sesh mission. A while back I had the oppurtunity to gain some school credit to graduate from CSUF in a cool way. I interned at Sole Tech under Heath Brinkley the Etnies TM. It was so siiiick and I got to tag along on bunch of cool shit. I met a lot of cool people and did some really good networking. Here are some random pics of mine during my intern hustle at Etnies. I think these photos already got ran on the etnies skate blog but fuck it I worked the last 5 days and only touched a board to grip it for customers. Shawnymac is finally helping me solve my video embed problem so a tuesdays trash from the bony vault will be happening real soon. My new lights come in friday from UPS…night skate anybody???
Last weekend we decided to go out and see our long lost friend and black ass (not racist) John Drinkard. It was just a bunch of good times, good spots, and some clips were locked in the can! Here are some pics from one spot we went too I can’t show you the other one because I don’t wanna blow the spot out son!!! Shot out to Thomas and his crew from DEFY Boardshop and John’s shop sponsor too!! Always hookin John up with a few extra boards when he comes to stay at my apartment in the OC. We also totally barged the sesh on Tom but they were all chill ass kids. Definitely some talent to look out for!!!
Arto Saari!!!!!! I was strolling in to work an hour early to handle some team manager emails when low and behold the freakin’ Gravis team is just at our store cold chillin mane. At first I was trippin I didn’t know what to do except to continue to eat my berry topper from Jamba Juice. The said they were about to peace out so I was like “Arto can I get a picture?” and he was cool as hell. He also started asking me about my Garmin GPS phone I got for christmas from my mom. I know Brett isn’t in DEMA or anything but this was the first time I had filmed anything for a mag minute. I went and stayed with Brett two different times to film him for what you currently see now. I only filmed two things in there but hey I am pumped I just got my name on the website. There alot more stuff that I have of Brett that didn’t make the final cut which will probably go in my video. So here it is and if you see Brett around have a philosophical talk with him about current world affairs. Dude is hella smart….UC berkeley is a hard college to get into…really hard..

The Varial Flip from bank to bank over a set of stairs
This spot is in Oakland and is in front two houses one filled with Mexican and one with Koreans. Neither family didn’t care about us skating in front of their house and we were there for 4 hours. Some of them came out and watched and some of the kids got in the way sometimes. We also had to put a sign down for the run-up which was hella rugged. Brett also got another trick on this spot but you’ll have to wait and see what it is.
FS boardslide on the John Cardiel spot from sight unseen.
This fs board was on a different trip and he actually did it twice. The way John Cardiel skated it is effing gnarly because there is no bump to the rail. This spot is also in Oakland but in the sketchier part but we kept to ourselves and kept our eyes peeled the whole time. Franciso filmed the other angle with his 2100 and the rest is history.

Not too long ago I went out with Dre Williams, Joe Cabello, and Chris Bell. We hit up this spot to warm up and then Chris Bell got a bangin trick at a gap not too far down the road. Well here are some pics but not of the gap…I can’t show you that quite yet
