No More Peaking?

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but there wasn’t a Sneak Peak last week nor will there be one this week. And, I’m not too sure there’ll be more in the future. Some people feel Peak isn’t worth the waste of tape. I say “fuck you!”
Rumor going around, it might be true, I don’t know officially but Peak may be closing it’s gates for good. Thanks to some local wanna-be taggers and dumb ass gangsters. Please, tell me this isn’t true.
Yesterday, I went with Ian and Sammy to the Liberty Boardshop BBQ at Brea skate park and won some wheels and a shirt. Word is Austyn Gillette from Liberty wants to have BBQs at the park at least once a month.

All cause of dema people tagging inside of peak….when you go to the park its called tagged with dema….please dema why do you guys have to tag..im nota hater im a big fan but please try to understand that the only reason why its closing down is cause only dema tags in the skatepark..

you should really wait for the update nate. sometimes it’s best to hear the facts, not rumors, before you make yourself sound ignorant. it’s cool to call it like it is…but don’t assume it was any particular group of people if you don’t know anything. it could have been kids(not from Dema) helping to promote Dema in the wrong ways…
am i being condescending? yeah, maybe a little. did i help stir this dumb controversy? i guess so…but it’s your fault for not separating fact from fiction even though i clearly stated it was rumor and not anything official.
what you could and should have done was ask more questions.

i really agree with you shawnymac. the people that dont wanna film at peak, certain spots, or wanna give me tickets at peak, i say fuck you too!!!
and no sneak peak nor tuesday’s trash is coming this week due to justin’s wrecked car and fucked up attitdes.
@dre man, justin lives relatively far compared to the rest of the dema heads. besides…i think it’s time for YOU to get a car too.
@izzy the violence will never end. yeah, my attitude won’t make it better but i’m a realist. all we can do is prevent it or become bad asses ourselves and fight fire with fire.

lots of interesting philosophies and theories here which reflect your personas(in ways you’d never imagine) and personal approaches to life. by the way, one thing we will never encounter, is a superior being. anyways, it may close, sooner or later. at some point, the city will look over salaries(city workers that maintain the joint), damage costs, damage control, the vortex of violence and crime propelled by peak-weed smokers, drinkers, vandals, whatever….and may find it more cost efficient to shut it down. money IS a factor here money money money. all these illegal activities may attract the attention of concerned parents and some of which have complaints that may make it to the city counsil. even littering could shut it down. not everyone follows the rules at peak. everyone’s guilty, but the only crime is getting caught. bummer if it does in fact get shut down. and dema kids do tag and sticker the place, hence the vandalism. they{dema} ARE NOT completely at fault….or it could be rumors to keep visitors of peak in fear/check, and as a result there may be a clean and safe environment at peak for once. as far as im concerned, it’s all a rumor no matter the source. i’ll just contact the city council if i must know……peace, and positive attitudes, amen?
